Micro-Enterprise Project

Coast for Christ microenterprise project (CFCMP)was established in 2006 in response to challenges faced by rural folks who do not know how to read and write, and who do not have skills to fend for themselves and dependants. 
The aims of the CFCMP are to set up and train rural people in literacy programme and vocational skills.
Qualified beneficiaries are given seed money between GH300-GHC500 are given beneficiaries depending on nature of business.
Beneficiaries pay back seed money within a year. 
Monies payback are given to the next batch of beneficiaries.
Many beneficiaries and their households have had quality of life improved. Others have their own businesses and are training others young ones. Parents are increasingly becoming responsible for their children in school.
